Westminster Presbyterian Church

Minneapolis, MN

An engaged, urban partner, Westminster Presbyterian Church has focused its mission on being “a telling presence in the city” since 1857. This project expanded Westminster’s historic building and grounds to enhance church ministries, enrich the life of the community, create new partnerships, and provide space for its congregation to thrive for future generations, all while being an exemplar of environmentally responsible urban development.

Prior to project development, JDD created a master plan to serve as a tool for strategic project implementation. This process produced a flexible framework that established a long-range project vision rooted in Westminster’s ethos and needs, and served as way to meaningfully engage the congregation, community, and Westminster’s many community partners.
